time pass by. as we stay in this place before, i say that this is good but when we comeback last may 2015 i can say that this place are not good anymore. no changes in the room facilities but the prices are getting higher, parking space are too small u almost trap in the center when u parked.
Considering there are not a lot of choices to choose from in Kidapawan City, this place offers good value. This is about 3 kilometers away from the urban center and is in the midst of an agricultural part of the city. Agricultural bugs are prevalent in Kidapawan City but the inn does what it can to eliminate them. Because it is away from the urban center, it is in a quiet place and although rooms are not sound-proof, you still get much peace and quiet. Parking is adequate. Security guards are on duty night and day. Power outages are normally experienced in Kidapawan City and unfortunately, when I visited, the inn's power generator was not working. Power outages last anywhere between 5 minutes to about an hour. Fortunately, the weather was occasionally rainy and temperatures were relatively cool. The room has a Samsung window-type air conditioning that can cool the room efficiently. There is a 21" Samsung CRT TV with the usual cable channels. There is free wi-fi and connectivity was quite good as long as there was power. The bathroom is a bit small and the shower has a water heater and the water pressure in the shower and faucet is strong. The front desk lobby also serves as the restaurant. The food they serve are just about OK. But the Filipino-style beef steak combo (with rice and sauteed vegetables and iced tea) is good. For P70, it's good value. But for my appetite, I ordered for one extra rice for an additional P10. The hotel includes free breakfast where you choose from a set breakfast menu. The skinless chorizo breakfast combo is the best choice which includes rice, egg, 3-in-1 instant coffee and a serving of fruit (banana on the first day, apple slices on the next). There are two retail stores across the hotel which might offer slightly cheaper prices for what you need. But the inn has more choices of items to pick from like chips, candy bars, toothpaste, etc. There is a hot and cold water dispenser and glasses beside it for anyone to fill up and quench thirst. Guests are usually travelling businessmen or company personnel with sales or other functions in the city, but I did see an American guest in the inn. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms. My colleague, who frequents this inn, tells me the inn's management prohibits bringing in any "commercial sex partner". So none of that goes on in this place. Rates are P600 for singe occupancy. P800 for twin sharing or matrimonial. P1,100 for family rooms. There is a function hall but I didn't ask for rates.…
