Been to Surkhet multiple times, but stayed at Namaste Nepal for the first time. Hotel seemed to have just been revamped as smell of fresh color was strong. The room was ok but lookout for insects (small cockroaches)... the room had AC and fan... tv seemed to have some issue but ok... the room i stayed had low coverage of wifi so struggled a bit. The food is good and the staffs friendly. I would recommend this hotel fo any one who would like to stay in the market area and in rush.

Hello Everyone, I would always suggest people to go and visit. The staffs are friendly and well trained. This hotel also books your trip to rara lake. We can also get the discount if you go with the group. The cooks are also trained for continental foods.

When you have to spend the night in Surkhet, select De Namaste Hotel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, Comfortable beds, efficient wifi, excellent hot shower and very tasty food in this hotel that delivers a much higher quality than one might expect in this town. And the price is unbeatable!

I have been working in rural Nepal for 3 months last year and for 1 month now in 2016. This is the first time I get clean sheets, clean towels and a hot shower!! It is the best shower I have had since I left the US! It looks like they have renovated some of their rooms so very clean and new furniture and bathroom (no filthy carpet!!!). Overall hotel is super clean and staff is exceptionally polite and friendly and will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. I feel so lucky I found this place and really recommend it for people who come to Surkhet. It is very reasonable priced and you get much more than you would get for more money in other districts hotels. Wifi works well and food is very good.

It's an average place to stay, friendly staff and nice surrounds. Wifi worked well, unfortunately no hot showers. We stayed 3 nights, food was very delicious. Last night there was a larger group staying as well, which was hard for the staff to handle. But for that remote location certainly a safe and acceptable place to stay.
