When I booked the accomodation I was completely unaware that Byruha Ibra actually happens to be a small children’s theme park about 8km south of the city that also offers accomodation. They are offering two kinds of rooms: Standard rooms in small huts and deluxe rooms in what looks like traditional arabic tents. I originally booked a standard room and have to say that I was quite disappointed with it, seeing as it was very basic and not particularly clean. However, the friendly hotel manager later gave me a free upgrade and I spent the night in one of the traditional tents which were far nicer and really spacious. Other than that the breakfast was pretty basic as well, but the staff was friendly and the WiFi was working as well. So if you can get a good deal for one of deluxe rooms I can recommend the hotel, but I wouldn't book a standard room here again.…
We visited this hotel in February 2018 as a gateway to the dessert. we have also booked a trip to the dessert thru this hotel. The trip was perfectly organised. I can say we have never experienced such a friendly welcome to the hotel and such a friendly manager, who was always ready to help! I would highly recommend this hotel to the families with young children, as the hotel has huge playground. However, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, because it close to the dessert. I hope to come back to this wonderful hotel. Thanks again!
