Wonderful stay at The Cwms in the grounds of the woodland over Christmas. Walked for miles every day and just loved it. So very lucky with the weather, rained early mornings and at night but dry all day. Will be back.

The car park is 3 pounds for a visit of 3 hours.the entrance was free .the trees and woodlands were beautiful autumn colours and there are plenty of various woodland walks .there’s a small cafe.we chose broccoli soup and a roll.really tasty.made a lovely change.

Pleasant stroll through the woodlands and gardens. It’s a bit hilly but my wife and I, both in our eighties, managed OK by taking it steady. As it was the end of September, our expectations were not that high, but it was a very natural environment and we were happy with it, but can see why others might find it a little lacking in maintenance. The Bothy Tea Room, not NT run, was excellent and we have reviewed it separately.

We were looking to go for a walk that you can take dogs.
Colby Woodland Garden fitted the bill perfectly. The walk is very up and down and there is plenty to see (some are hidden ) . Great variety of trees and plants too. When you have finished your walk, there is a great cafe to have a cupper and bite to eat.

We have visited the gardens regularly for many years. This was first since lockdown and hugely disappointed. It felt like the NT have given up. Similar experiences in Tenby and Stackpole. Obviously the NT are cost cutting.

Nice walks, quite a lot of up and down , but nice walks.
The tea room was excellent , a great lunch. Nice coffee & hot chocolate, very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely garden but the thing that really sets it apart is the cafe. Best coffee I've had in a long time and a fabulous selection of cakes. Could have come back every day to work through the selection!

Beautiful place to visit and the cafe has a very impressive range of cakes, etc... Easy to park and only £3, no other cost so great value for family.

What's not to love? A walled garden, a great little second hand bookshop and an amazing woodland walk. Or two. Or three. Small cafe with lovely staff and yummy clementine cake to finish. Loved it.

Colby woodland garden is located a short distance down a very narrow and steep hill, plenty of car parking, £6:00 for the day and entry was then free (bonus)
We picked up a map that apparently had 3 different routes through the woodland, also apparently these routes would be marked, we only saw 4 blue route markers so just made up our own routes.
The woodland walks are very pretty, they are however quite hilly and steep in places so I would say not well suited for wheel chairs or pushchairs.
It was a good explore but at one point we ended up on a public footpath heading out of Colby as there was no sign telling us we were heading away.
Plenty of benches and places to have a sit, and look out for the woodland sculptures!!
The woodland is doggy friendly, as long as they are on a lead, but dogs are not allowed in the walled garden which was a shame as our doggy wanted to go in and explore/sniff, we were there for about 3 hours and enjoyed the walks in and around the woodlands.

How much is entry to the gardens? Also, is there blue badge parking available?

As of this year, the admission charge is covered by a car parking charge. National Trust members continue to be free on ‘scanning’ of the membership card. Blue badge parking is available along with a ‘drop-off’ point near on the walkway not far from the tearoom.

It is providing you're around the buildings and meadowland. I honestly couldn't say that it won't be some what of an effort but it's perfect for a picnic

The toy ducks are free. You pay a £1 deposit on them, and get the deposit back on return. Didn't you get the deposit back?

Hi I e just arranged a coach trip for 52 people now the coach company is saying there's no way a coach can get down those narrow lanes!! I'm very stressed as everyone is expecting the trip!can anyone advise please?

Those lanes are single track at some points With tight bends, I would suggest ringing Colby directly to discuss. Alternatively, are your party able to walk? If the bus company would allow, you could get dropped off in Amroth which has a lovely beach and then walk up the hill to Colby?
