A vast improvement since my last visit a few years ago now that they have a station and engine shed at the end of the line. It still seems a stand alone attraction with very little information about it in shops etc. They have had vandals attack the town station end as well as the far end of the line. not open every day and sometimes it is difficult to work out when the trains will end for the day - not helped by a basic unhelpful website. Support such miniature railways or they will disappear for good

This is a brilliant experience for little children, mine are 3yrs and 7yrs and they love it every time we visit Kingsbridge. The drivers that volunteer are so fun and it costs £1 one way or £2 return which is good value! The children love waving at everyone walking along the Quay. I had to post a review as there are only 2 so far and it's a must visit place if you have a young family, followed by an ice-cream stop on the other side of the Quay (little bit pricey) or at Scoops (our favourite place) just up the road at the beginning of Fore St. The times are written in chalk on the board (I think they are open every afternoon, not sure about mornings)

TOP TIP: You can buy a Bonus Ride card which costs £10 and includes 6 x return trips, great saving and if you're in Kingsbridge for the week.

If ice-cream isn't your thing or you've had too much already, a walk to the park across the road is also very popular with a sandpit, digger and lovely woodland slides.

Nice and quirky surprise to see Railway objects under a scoped up bridgeway!
Beautifully kept gardens around it, sad to see that the railway was removed!

Hi. Thanks for the review but this is NOT Kingsbridge & District Light Railway, but a display put on by Kingsbridge in Bloom in the arches of the old Primrose Line bridge. Best regards Steve KDLR Co

Visited 3 August 2020. What a delight!! £1 each way up and down the Quay per person and thought this was very reasonable to keep this gem going. Kids absolutely loved it and so did I!! The gentleman running the train was very friendly and full of knowledge on where to take the children. The gentleman also was very diligent and made sure the train was sprayed over after each passenger to keep it clean, making us feel very safe.
