Dear Michelle, I am so sorry you feel this way. We want any and all our customers to have an outstanding experience. Unfortunately, what you describe is not accurate. No one from Damiani ever "yelled" or acted rudely. When your husband came upstairs, I politely asked if I could help him and explained that the upstairs was for private tastings. He seemed very understanding, we exchanged thumbs-up and he went back downstairs. No harm, no foul. About 5 minutes later you came upstairs, without your husband, clearly in a foul frame of mind, speaking in a voice that some might describe as yelling. To me it appeared you had been drinking. You said I was rude and demanded a refund. I apologized saying (we have security video of the exchange), "I apologize if he feels that way, it certainly was not my intent... Of course, I will be happy to give you a refund". I immediately asked my colleague to give you the refund. Although, I doubt you will take me up on it, I would be happy to have you back at the winery to enjoy our wines and discuss the this situation and ways we can make the customer experience better in the future.
