Hello, My husband and I are interested in a day of hiking when our ship, the Nieuw Statendam is at Praia di Vitoria, Terceira. We arrive on Sunday, April 28 at 10 am and depart at 6 pm. I don't know if that would be sufficient time for the Misterios Negros trail or another hike would be better. We are older, but experienced and frequent hikers. Our time in Europe will include hiking in the Cevennes and the Pyrenees. We would also I think like to include time to explore the historic neighborhoods of Praia di Vitoria. Please let me know if you are available and your suggestions for itinerary.

The Mistérios Negros trail takes you about 3/3:30 hours to finish which would leave us enough time to visit Praia da Vitória or Angra do Heroísmo (capital town of the island).
As for the price, if you want lunch the Mistérios Negros Trail tour is the right one for you, but in case you want to do it without lunch you can book the Agualva Bay's Trail: Half Day Tour, and we can do both the Mistérios Negros trail instead and the city tour for the same price.
