Once again, we loved our experience with Maurizio! The reason I say once again is that this is the 3rd experience we've had with Maurizio, including a food tour in the pre-pandemic days. For our most recent experiences over the past month, Maurizio gave us a great food tour of the Trianfale neighborhood and then on another day we went to his studio for a wine & cheese dinner.
He had quite a selection of food prepared, each paired with the wines we were going to try. While we didn't love all of the wines (after all, isn't the point of wine tasting? to find out which ones you love or not love?), we learned a lot about the wine making process along the way. In particular, none of us had ever known about what "additives" are in wine but never mentioned on the bottle.
So, we highly recommend getting together with Maurizio when in Rome - you won't be disappointed.
