It's now January 24 and so sad to see that 8t has shut down. So sad as in my opinion it was the best bar in Benidorm providing everything you can't get in the area 🙁

It's great to see craft beer bars popping up in Benidorm, latest holiday to here saw my twin brother Stephen and I drop into a few of these specialized craft beer bars,the newest addition is Metabrew in the heart of the Old Town on Placa de la Constitució.
A great looking bar ,interior is cosy and inviting, a retro looking serving bar dominates the main room, great decor and furnishings, beers on offer displayed on boards behind the bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling square.
We were here on a Thursday night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, a quick study of their beer range which is really impressive, we both opted to have Metabrew " Helles " these were served in excellent condition, we grabbed table outside were we supped our beers and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular craft beer bar.
My beer was fantastic,a lager style brew ,well balanced, full bodied, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it we both really enjoyed, a totally wonderful beer indeed, hardly surprising that this bar is so popular with beers served in this good a condition.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Metabrew we were totally impressed.
Metabrew is easy to locate on Placa De Constitucio, a square and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and a major tourist destination.
Well worth checking out if you're in Benidorm Old Town.

We have been visiting Benidorm over thirty year's and this area of the old town has an amazing arrey of bars and restaurants but it can boast at having a brilliant craft beer bar now called Metabrew.
Located on Pl.de la Constitucíó'Metabrew is housed in a distinct building with a great interior with many interesting features and and superb seating options throughout it's whole interior and an excellent terrace.
They offer a superb craft beer range thats really well priced.We went here early in the evening and it was just starting to get busy but it only took a minute to get served.
On our visit we had a few pints of Helles an excellent craft beer which where excellent and really well priced considering were we were in and the beer we were having.This is a brilliant craft beer bar that's well worth a visit especially if you like craft beers.(This is my first review of Metabrew).

A great little beer house in the middle of the old town….yes beer not lager. Newly opened just a week before we went, but went most days for a few drinks, all of which were in superb condition. A great Spanish feel and not a rowdy British bar full of drunks, so may not be to everyone’s taste that visits Benidorm. The bar staff are amazing, engaging and trying really hard to make this bar a deserved success….we’ll certainly be back and look forward to a stout on the menu next time 😀
