My first Cuba stop was Cienfuegos and was met by Mariannis and diver (shame on me for forgetting his name). But both of them were amazing and Mariannis was a breath of fresh air with showing me around and telling me the history with each site. I would go back and ask for her again in a heart beat. Next stop Havana where Amy and Victor (driver didn't forget this time) met me and off we go for another day of site seeing and history. Amy was a little bit greener I think as a tour guide but still did a great job. I was very pleased with the way the company set up both of my tours and the price for them. Go private don't do ship buses you will be missing out on all the really good stuff like awesome food at places they go to not just a tourist place.

Yunet was our guide, and that was great for us. We hit all the highlights, plus a bunch of cool stuff off the beaten path. Our tour was wonderfully customized. My wife and I had set-up to meet a friend of a friend, and naturally he didn't show-up. Yunet made lemonade out of lemons. She pivoted for us, and amazingness followed. Havana Club Rum, amazing cigars (Cohiba Sublimes), Cafe Con Leche Con Havana Club Especiale, Best Mojitos Ever, El Floridita (Hemingway's Daiquiri Place), El Malecon, El Morro, Hotel National, Plaza de Revolucion and on and on and on. Yunet arranged for great lunches and dinner, PLUS she swung it for me to sing Guantanamera with one of the best bands in Havana (Havana Libre)! Our cars were a 1956 Chevy Belair Sedan on the 1st day & night, and a 1956 Chevy Belair Convertible the 2nd day. Wowee! Went to the house Che Guevara lived in just prior to the Communists' New Year's Eve march into Havana. Saw US and Cuban weapons and artifacts from the Bay of Pigs Invasion. The 9 PM Canon Ceremony; Did I mention mojitos? Yunet is fun. If you want a fun time while learning about and seeing Havana, then get ahold of Viajes Vinatage ... And ask them to hook you up with Yunet.

We set up this tour before our cruise, and arrived at Cienfuegos harbor on January 10th. Giovanni was a terrific guide, meeting us outside customs as we expected. He was attentive to our interests. We had hired Viajes to tour us around Cienfuegos & then drive out to Trinidad, but our cruise ship had to leave the harbor earlier than we expected, and so we sadly cut out the trip to Trinidad. Giovanni filled in that hole with an extensive tour of Cienfuegos: I especially enjoyed art gallery situated off one of the plazas in the city, I wish I had purchased more there, because we just didn't have the time to that when we visited Havana later. We toured two Cienfuegos markets: one selling food, the other household goods, and Giovanni tried to explain the confusing way Cubans have to shop. Another highlight was coffee at the rooftop cafe of a restored hotel. We enjoyed driving in a '54 Chevy, whose driver graciously explained how he had replaced the engine with a Mercedes diesel and installed a very unique AC unit on the front dashboard. He drove us out in the country to a small town near the Botanical garden and the decaying laboratory of The Harvard Botanic Station for Tropical Research and Sugar Cane Investigation that was active early in the last century. We viewed the remnants of an old sugar mill and drove past a mango plantation. Lastly we had a light supper at a local restaurant, enjoying a trio of musicians as we ate. Cuba is a unique country full of interesting people and sights. I am so glad Viajes Vintage shared them with us! Muchas gracias!

I booked the Havana tour as a Birthday surprise for my husband after reading the great reviews and hearing the promise of a classic car. When the tour guide arrived at our hotel we were lead to a beat up taxi that was by no means a classic car as promised. When we voiced our complaint she said the other car had broken down. We should have been warned if this was the case as we would have cancelled. The tour guide was very helpful and the tour itself was enjoyable, the guide was doing her best even though it was her first tour. At the end of the day we felt it was false advertising and will not use this company again.

Although we had a very enjoyable, educational day, I believe our day in Havana could have been better. For some unknown reason, our promised tour guide of Lorena (who has wonderful reviews) was switched. When we arrived at the meeting place, a different tour guide was waiting and told us Lorena was spending the day with a different party. He didn't inquire on how we wanted to customize our tour and appeared to lack experience and knowledge in many areas that included where we could exchange money and restaurants other than one he knew. At the restaurant, when we were done, we lost about 15 minutes of our tour trying to find our guide and then being told to wait for him. He pointed out key items on the itinerary but could have spent additional time explaining many other items we passed as we drove and walked around. He also spent too much time texting on his phone throughout the day. There were two areas I requested to see and both were not accommodated. One because he didn't know where it was and took me to the wrong place and the other because the car part of the tour was limited to 2 hours. We also almost skipped one item on the emailed itinerary because of the 2 hour limit but I had him call to get permission to take us there. When we visited the funky house (I don't recall the name) he dropped us off at the entrance instead of providing a tour like others visitors were receiving. In summary, although our guide was nice, did provide some very interesting information and we did have an enjoyable day, we were very disappointed Lorena was not our guide and we were not notified before we arrived.

We had been in Havana two times before with resort tours, but this time it was a totally different and unique experience. Lorena and David met us at the resort early in the morning and they were perfectly on time 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻.
Lorena showed us some new and exotic places in Havana that we had never been before. Her English is perfect, she is so nice and friendly and has a lot if information about Havana.
It was definitely a customized Havana tour for us and we got a chance to walk in old Havana and focus more on places that we liked more. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a private one and like to see some specific places in Havana...

Touring Havana with Viajes Vntage was such a great experience !!! Yunet our guide drove us around in a beautiful chevy 1957 and it was gerat.
Do dot hesitates to hire Viajes Vintage, they will give you you the best tour at the best price...

We took the Havana City tour with Eva in a classic Chevy Bel Air. It was a wonderful tour and in the beginning she asked if we wanted to see anything specific. She introduced us to Havana and we saw all the must-go’s as tourists as well as some spots we didn’t know about. The walking portion in Old Havana was my favorite part. Eva was very knowledgeable about the history and very personable! We felt like friends by the end. I highly recommend this to anyone. It was a wonderful way to start our trip!

My husband and I visited Havana in early October 2018 on Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas. We contacted Viajes Vintage for a custom tour of Havana in a classic automobile. Yoan was extremely easy to work with in setting up the reservation, and he even changed our date at the last minute to match our schedule. We had two travel hosts. Sweet and knowledgeable Johan was our guide who greeted us promptly at the rendezvous location and seemed to know everyone in the city. His bubbly personality made the adventure a total BLAST! Ahmed, who was also awesome, drove us around in his beautiful maroon/white '57 Chevy. We had a super experience with Viajes Vintage and would highly recommend them to everyone!

Driving around Havana in a 1949 Plymouth car was just incredible and a moment I will never forget. I can not recommend Eva Lorena enough for being a tour guide.
Lorena picked us up and we did a car tour. It was so nice to be sat in the convertible and taking in the colours and sights of Havana. Lorena taught us history and then the current life style of living in Cuba. Lorena made our tour personal to us - which was a lovely change to the standard tours, she asked us what kind of things we liked and then planned a day we wouldn’t forget. Including the best tasting daiquiris! Lorena also helped us with recommendations of what to do for our trip travelling around Cuba and had very good knowledge.
Thank you for a great tour and I would recommend this to everyone to see the sights and to get to know the real Cuba.
