Only potential downside is the number of jellyfish, especially in summer. Has dunes and rock pools, and is big enough to never feel crowded

Love coming to Narin beach. Such a pretty setting here looking out towards Inishkeel Island. On a warm sunny day this place is packed! Car parking available and toilet facilities. Cafe also during summer season.

Spectacular Blue flag beach. Crystal clear water. Visited twice on our August Donegal trip and rest assured we will be back again and again. Great for family's . We walked over to the island at low tide. Great time exploring. Apparently they do yoga on the beach during the summer. Great little cafe right beside the beach. So handy with the kids.

Great walking, swimming, wading, kite flying at a clean and beautiful beach. Many chances for panoramic photograhy, sketching or painting. Parking could be a bit difficult on days of good weather.

Narin beach is breath-takingly beautiful, but be careful to avoid the surrounding village of Narin.
It’s a sad little place of half open/ half closed businesses. One large pub at the entrance to the village is burnt out.
The banking crash & now the Covid crisis has all but finished the place.
Thankfully the beach remains untouched by humanity’s foolishness.

A beautiful beach for walking , for families to spend time together and for dog walkers .
It doesn't matter what the weather is , this beach is still beautiful .

Travelled to this campground on a saturday. All fine till 12 midnite and literally terrorised/harassed by a gang of youths till 4am. Phoned garda and was promised garda call out...never happened. No security on site..left to deal with these hooligans on our own. I spoke with owner next day and he claimed this has never happened before. Posted photo of rubbish that sat all weekend as the owner drove by! Facilities...toilets/shower area outdated...wont be back.

Beautiful white sandy beach. Ideal for families. People were flying kites and surfing day of our visit.

First timers to this area of Donegal and to here. Loved this blue flag beach. Flat, white, breezy and very clean. Dogs being walked on the beach. Steps down to it. Not sure if it's wheelchair accessible though but it is family friendly. Free parking which is great. We didn't use nor notice any public toilets. Lovely view of the beach from the hill overlooking it. We grabbed a coffee from 'pirates of the coffee bean' hut which was a very slow wait in a socially distanced Q for a truly average coffee served by friendly ladies in compostable cups. I'd agree with a previous review as entering Narin-Portnoo from the Glenties side, the area looks run-down and unloved with broken windows in an abandoned house, houses for sale and a dilapidated former bar looking worse for wear. Sad given the beauty of the beach.

Breathtakingly beautiful beach. I would give it 5 stars but the car park lets it down. Bins would need emptied more than once a day and toilets would need checked occasionally especially on busy days. In saying that I would highly recommend a visit.
