My partner and I went on an excursion immersed in breathtaking nature, with an impeccable guide and very good horses. Pietro is a true professional and a tour with him is not a simple walk, but if a person wishes, it also becomes a fun and out-of-the-box riding lesson. I highly recommend

Wedding gift... that exceeded our expectations... in fact both Pietro competent person and deep connoisseur of the places has been able to lead us together with his Dutch collaborator anke she super nice and professional, in a fantastic but real world where time has stopped and you are there to listen and see the wildest and most uncontaminated nature (old trees, free animals, le domus de jeans ..etc...) then what about Pietro's horses, Sardinian razzq horses of Supramonte, unique in their kind for strength, balance and endurance..... you just felt safe above them, having fun and admiring unique landscapes at the next a hug from our

A wonderful experience, my boyfriend and I went on a 4-hour hike in nature. We begin by getting to know Peter and his helpers, we are carefully assigned the horses and the bases to mount with all the necessary equipment. Pietro was an excellent Guide, very attentive to our needs and ready to correct us and guide us in the magnificent mountain trails. We visited the viewpoints on horseback, met wild horses, cows, goats and piglets and visited a lake. The horses were well trained and well kept enough to give us the chance to gallop despite being beginners. Pietro is a lovely person who guided us in his land as friends and not as customers, if you pass by Sardinia you can not skip this stage. Very fair price.

We'd give Sella Sarda 6 stars if we could. My family of 5 rode here this past week, on one of Sella's 4 hour excursions. We have ridden as a family for over 10 years and in many different parts of the world (Iceland, New Zealand, throughout Europe, western US), and this place is top of the list. Despite our years of experience, we are strongly in the beginner skill level (if that). Pietro and his assistant, Maria, were nothing short of spectacular. They exhibited such patience with all of us, truly making us better riders by the end. And with a beautiful array of animals - created a riding experience as authentic as there is. The countryside of Sardinia is beautiful and rugged, and this ride was one from times past. The lunch is exceptional, the wine marvelous. And the terrain we covered is like nothing else. At least in our experience, it is exceptionally rare to find a combination of such moving scenery, warm and enthusiastic guides, and horses so welcoming to new riders. If you want a vintage Italian horseback riding experience, with some of the friendliest guides and horses on the planet, look no further. We drove 2 hours to find this remote place, and would come back here in a heartbeat. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

We realized the 3 hour walk proposed by Pietro in the heart of deep Sardinia.
My spouse had no riding experience, while I did.
Pietro and our coach made sure to make the ride affordable for him (step by step), while allowing me to enjoy some gallops.
We were able to see landscapes, cultural elements and untouched nature that amazed and upset us: what a difference from our culture.
Seeing these farm animals evolve in total freedom, in wooded and grandiose areas, what gap between this life and intensive breeding.
It was almost like a safari! It was an incredible moment for animal lovers that we are.
The horses we have been awarded have been incredible partners with strong feet and unwavering courage.
Our only regret: not being able to speak Italian. Throughout the ride, I felt Pietro had so much to share about his country. The language barrier did not allow me to listen to his beautiful stories.
(However our companion spoke English, may she forgive me for forgetting her first name. She was adorable and helped us a lot to feel comfortable).
To close this story, I would just say that the ride was a little too intense for an inexperienced person like my spouse. He loved discovering Sardinia from this angle, but was also afraid at many times (very steep slopes, nervous horse when part of the group went galloping,...)
If you do not have experience on horseback, go to a club for a few lessons before coming for this ride.
So you can fully enjoy the experience.
If, on the other hand, you are an experienced rider, GO AHEAD, it has nothing to do with the tourist traps that are generally known on holiday.
This is an AMAZING experience!
(I would love to come back with a group of riders to do the 3-4 day rides so much I loved going to the world of Pietro).

The horse riding trip was one of the highlights of our vacation. As beginners, we felt totally at ease and saw things that we would never have seen on foot or in a car. Definitely highly recommended.

I took this trip with my teenage daughter, both amateur riders but it was exceptional. The horses are professionals, as is Pietro. The views are stunning.

I was there now for the second time for further three excursions and it was magnificent again! Nothing more to add to all the other five stars ratings. If 6* were possible it would be worth it! I can only highly recommend it and will surely come again!

Il tour costa 75EUR/persona, dura tre ore, ed è adatto ai principianti.

Hello! Our address is Via Egidio Mesina, 6, Orgosolo (NU). There’s an our office there where we receive people before the tour and give them the riding equipment. The manege is in 5 minuets from there in the country side in Via Gurruispa. Please, note the fact that we receive people only by the booking in advance by tel/WhatsApp: +393313475401
