I apologize that your tour did not go as it should. As our reviews reflect, the tour usually has amazing food and a great personal history of each neighborhood. Obviously, that did not happen Our goal is to weave the true fabric of North Beach\Little Italy into our food tour, so our guests experience the real flavor of the neighborhood. We want our guests to enjoy a wide variety of local foods and to feel like they have experienced the neighborhood with a true local. From Cavalli Cafe, where our guests enjoy delicious coffee drinks and learn how the coffee is roasted, and Mario’s, where they enjoy focaccia sandwiches from a San Francisco institution, from Z. Cioccolato, where they savor chocolate and learn how it’s made from an award-winning chocolatier, Acquolina, where they enjoy pasta made in a flambeed parmesan wheel and see it prepared, and Stella Pastry, which has been making cannoli for decades, to Molinari, where guests enjoy deli sandwiches with their salami that they have been making since 1896, and amazing local pizza and more, we want our guests to enjoy great local foods in generous portions. At the same time, being from San Francisco, we want our guests to experience the neighborhood from a local’s point of view, getting below the surface in a way that only someone who is from the neighborhood can do. We want them to meet the local artisans that make North Beach\Little Italy special. We hope that the combination of the food and the tour of North Beach\Little Italy will provide our guests with an amazing experience. We’re reviewing all of the stops and the tour itself to ensure that all our future guests have a great experience. I apologize that did not occur on your tour, we’ll take all of the necessary steps to ensure that our future guests have amazing food and a great experience.
