Very good Experience
From picking you up at the hotel to transport and including a well-organized day's activity! There was nothing missing! All the people are very nice, speak good English and enjoy spending time with you. Safety is a top priority and a chat with the coaches is always untenable! always gladly again!

Anderhalf uur varen naar Koh Rang is niet de moeite: als men naar daar gaat is dat blijkbaar als het weer slecht is in Koh Chang en de golven te hoog. Koh Rang was in elk geval ook niet bepaald rustig: stroming te sterk voor de kids, lage zichtbaarheid. Teruggekeerd in een storm, water slaat gewoon aan boord, zoeken om je vast te houden, zeeziekte slaat toe. Ons advies - bij twijfelachtig weer: mijden, zeker met kids.

Wat jammer te lezen dat het snorkelen niet is bevallen. We snorkelen in Koh rang heel het jaar door, omdat het koraal daar heel mooi is. Maar idd als de golven hoog zijn dan is het ook het enige gebied waar we kunnen snorkelen en duiken, dus varen we daar in laagseizoen veel heen. Meestal is de zee daar rustig en stroming zwak. Alleen rond full moon is dit anders. In het regenseizoen zijn er altijd golven, we kunnen daar jammergenoeg niets aan doen. We verwittigen dit ook maar dit is bij jullie blijkbaar niet gebeurd, excuses daarvoor. Ik hoop dat de rest v d vakantie beter meevalt, en vindt het uiteraard heel jammer dat je geen prettige snorkel ervaring had op je dagje uit met ons. Kristel BB

Great trip. Fun but also professional crew. There were no hidden costs which seem to be the trend with everything I have done in Thailand.

A day I'll never forget - the whole team were so welcoming right from taxi pick up, to introductions and gear fitting at the shop, I swam through more fish and corals I've ever seen the most abundant place, Ko Rang national park. It felt like a dream! And the photographer captured it all for me which was very well spent money to have those memories. The boat was great, and lunch. We even jumped off boat which was so fun! Thanks again guys, highly recommend

Awesome snorkeling trip with great guide Jackie

We went on this trip in March 2023 for snorkeling and we had a really great time!
After pick up and arriving at the pier, we all went to their store to get our equipment. Afterwards the trip starts on their BangBao wooden boat - shoes stay on land in a box in Koh Chang, everyone on the boat is bare feet.
The ride itself is a little bumpy sometimes, some of the other participants were not feeling well, so if you tend to get seasick, do not forget to bring your medicine for that case.
We stopped at 3 spots for snorkeling:
First spot was a little reef, it was cloudy so it was not as beautiful as it could have been but still very nice. Then the sun came out and the second spot was at a very beautiful beach, there were tons of colourful fish! You could also jump off the top of the boat, or relax at the beach. The third spot was another reef with lots of yellow fish (and other rainbow coloured fish).
Overall, we saw so many different fish, including parrot fish, barrakudas, clownfish, and many others. Our snorkeling guide Jackie did an awesome job, he made sure every single one of us (who wanted to) saw every highlight, got to know how anemones and sea cucumbers felt like, how some corals behave. He pointed at starfish, huge clams, sea urchins, he had packed some food for the fish so we could get a closer look at them. He even showed us his skills at making air rings under water. At every moment, he made sure everyone was feeling comfortable and safe. He was a very friendly, thoughtful and helpful guide who knows his stuff.
I would totally recommend following the guide as it is much easier to spot the highlights with him.
We also had beverages and lunch on the boat which was super tasty. After returning to the pier, you get your shoes back and walk back to the shuttles and are brought back to your pick up location.
The trip was great and we enjoyed it a lot. 100% would recommend. I mean, just look at the beautiful pictures that I have added!

Jacky is indeed one of our most popular snorkeling guides, that being said, i will have to talk with him about feeding fish. it is not a practise we approve of since it change the natural feeding habbits of fish. But, I m sure he will understand and will be happy with his great review :-). It is great to read that he guided you around showing all the highlights. Great experience!
The snorkeling tour was a great experience! The crew was amazing, the equipment of good quality and the lunch was very tasty. The coral was in very good shape and we saw lot's of fish. We loved the small group setting. Therefore, the crew had enough time to show us around and point out some stingrays and other fish. We definitely recommend this tour to everyone visiting Koh Chang.

Beautiful location and helpful staff
Guides were very helpful and clearly wanted us to have the best time possible. Due to the weather we had to change plans last minute but I have no regrets. The snorkelling spots we were taken to were absolutely beautiful and we had more than enough time at all the stops. Crew handed out sea sickness pills to anyone who wanted or needed them before the trip which was very helpful and thoughtful. The food served for lunch was very tasty and enough for everyone. I would do this again if I had more time in Koh Chang.

Thank you so much for writing us this great review. Indeed from end of May to September we are in rainy season and some days it can get a bit rough. Then we can only go to Koh Rang national park, where the sea is calm and the corals very nice. Still a bit of a wavy boatride out, but a lovely snorkeling day once we are there. Much appreciated and happy to hear that you had a good snorkeling trip with BBdivers kristel BB

Zwei weitere schöne Schnorchelausflüge

Vor ca. 10 Jahren bin ich schon einmal mit BB Divers schnorcheln gewesen.
Als ich 2023 im März wieder auf Koh Chang war habe ich wieder Schnorchelausflüge mit BB Divers gebucht.
Ich war als Schnorchler Gast auf einem Tauchboot, was mir sehr gut gefallen hat.
Wir waren ca. 6 Taucher und ungefähr auch so viele (wenige) Schnorchler.
Aufgrund dieser überschaubaren Anzahl vn Gästen hatte ich den Eindruck, dass sich die Crew sehr gut um jeden Gast kümmern konnte, und im Wasser gab es genügend Platz für alle von uns.
Bevor wir zum Boot gingen, wurden im Shop die Leihflossen anprobiert, jeder bekam also welche, die der jeweiligen Fußgröße entsprachen.
Ausserdem hatte die Crew auch noch zusätzliche Flossen und Taucherbrillen mit auf dem Boot dabei. Sie waren also auch dafür gerüstet, wenn mal etwas nicht passte oder kaputt gehen sollte.
Ich hatte einen guten Eindruck vom Boot und Equipment.
Während der ganzen Fahrt standen Kaffee und kühle Getränke bereit.
Die Mitarbeiter von BB Divers waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dinge wurden gut erklärt. Falls es gewünscht wurde, ging auch jemand von der Crew als Schnorchelguide mit den Schnorchlern mit.

They do not always look out for the well-being of elderly. I was injured because of some negligence on their part
I cannot recommend BB divers snorkelling and diving tours. While their performance during the trip was mostly very good, there are times when they do not look out for the well-being of their customers. I am elderly (aged 76). They were negligent in not helping me enough when I was getting on their boat. I had a bad fall and injured my lower back. I also hit my head and hurt my hand. My iPhone 12 Pro was also damaged badly during the fall. Another one of the customers who witnessed this happen told me that they did not help me enough when I was getting on the boat. The boat was moving up and down some and a little tricky to get on.

I went to a hospital and the orthopaedic doctor said the back and head injury and continuing pain will take 2 to 3 months to heal with rest and medication. The iPhone repair was quite expensive.

Hi Bob, indeed we were sorry to hear about the fall you took on the boat. And after quite a few message conversations I can only apologize again that you fell after taking a wrong step. There are 3 boat staff for approx 20 guests, they do help as much as they can, but cannot be everywhere for each guest all the time. We do often have snorkelers or divers who book a private guide, since they realize they are "less mobile" and need the extra help, then we plan an extra guy in who stays with this guest. You did mention on the boat that your snorkeling day was good, so we were happy to hear that you still enjoyed the day out swimming and snorkeling. I hope you will make a full recovery from your fall and feel better soon, and that it will not put you of for joining other boat trips again in the future. wishing you all the best. kristel BBdivers
