Toller Tagesausflug; ein wenig anstrengend für Ungeübte...aber die Anstrengung zahlt sich aus. Tolle Landschaft und ein super netter Guide ohne den wir allerdings aufgeschmissen wären.

Highly anticipated! The whole trip was super smooth. Our guide AbdulRahman was a star. The pick up at 7am was on time, he took us for breakfast local Omani breakfast. Loved it. I was unsure about my swimming skills, so we got some life jackets too.
The journey to wadi shab was an adventure, the panoramic views are insane. Abdul was so supportive throughout the hike. Without him it wouldn't be possible. Lunch at a restaurant, followed by a quick trip to Bimmah sinkhole.
Overall the service was incredible. Must do when your in Oman. Thank you Abdul and GidOman for this experience

На данную экскурсию я поехала с мамой , маме 56 лет . Перед экскурсией она очень переживала , что не справится и ей будет тяжело преодолеть маршрут в Вади Шабе . Но благодаря гиду Яне, нам удалось с лёгкостью все пройти и дойти до самого конца - грота с чудесным водопадом ) Яна была очень внимательна и заботилась о нас , делала все , чтобы нам было комфортно ) после прохождения Вади Шаб мы направились к SinkHole , провал - воронка очень красивый , с тёплой прозрачной водой ) также Яна завезла нас в очень интересное место - пляж со скрытой пещерой в виде сердца ) ещё хотим выразить благодарность гиду Илье , который провёл нам экскурсию по городу Маскат и спасибо ему за подарочки )

Wadi Shab is a must-see place in Oman. The nature is really stunning and it makes you realize the true diversity of this country.
Our guide Aziz was excellent: gentle and helpful (and motivating😀). This was truly a great experience.
A tip for those who want to come there: be sure to have swimming shoes and if you are not a good swimmer — ask for a life jacket beforehand to experience the beauty which is the final cave of this wadi.

Mohammad and Fahmi were excellent tour guides with a lot of insight and knowledge about Oman and Omani culture. We enjoyed the conversations with them. We got to Wadi Shab early before the crowds and had a delightful swim to the cave. Pro tips: Don't forget to bring your aqua-socks; the rocks are slippery in spots and a few areas require walking over stony creek beds. To get all the way to the cave, you should be a competent swimmer. Lunch choice was delicious !! The sinkhole was a great spot to relax and swim. Overall, it was an incredible experience. Wadi Shab is not to be missed.

The tour from start to finish was excellent. The tour guide Ilyas was so nice and helpful. He recommended us to start early as it gets very busy in the late morning so it made the experience so much better. He knew all the best places and the added perks. The overall tour was so much fun. Would definitely book a tour again with this company

I'll start off by saying that this tour was the highlight of my time in Oman. The day started off with my guide Mahmood picking me up from my hotel on time. During the drive to Wadi Shab, Mahmood was very friendly, communicated the plan very well and provided great insight into the many cultural aspects of life in Oman. Once at Wadi Shab, we took a quick boat ride to the other side of the Wadi and hiked about 1.7mi (very scenic and mostly shaded) to the spot where we would begin our swim. Once there, we easily spent over an hour in the water swimming through some narrow passages to reach a lovely waterfall inside a cave. We then climbed the waterfall using a rope and explored the other side of the canyon and came back to jump off a ledge back into the water (optional). We then hiked back to get to our vehicle where we then had lunch at a nearby restaurant. Afterwards, we drove to a sinkhole where I was able to spend as much time as I wanted swimming in the clear water. All in all, the hike to get to the waterfall is absolutely stunning and a must do if you're athletic and adventurous. This tour offers plenty of scenic landscapes for great pics. I do recommend bringing water shoes like crocs to avoid hurting your feet when navigating through the shallow parts of the Wadi where there's small rocks. Swim goggles weren't needed but would be good to have. Ask for Mahmood as your guide, he's really fit, down to earth and also has a great playlist for the ride. Stop reading and book now!

It is as others say a ‘must do’. I’m sure other wadis are just as good but this was pretty special.
Abdulrahman is friendly and obliging, and said hi and helped us on a later day in our trip, which he certainly didn’t need to do.
The only thing to be aware of is that some might be a little perturbed by lunch. It wasn’t exactly a fancy restaurant! (However tasty and enjoyable experience)

I agree with Stayhappy HK - it is a somewhat difficult walk up the Wadi- I would advise really good water shoes if you are going to carry a child. My kids who are intrepid travellers would likely have wined all the way up so you may need to be prepared to carry....! Great tour though and I am sure they could cater it to your needs as it a completely private tour.

Since I am a single traveler, is there any group I could join so that the price would be more affordable? I saw somebody else had a similar question last summer, and you mentioned that group tours will start in October. Is there such an option available for December 7 or 8?
